The opening ceremony of the second annual BRICS International Film Festival was held in Chengdu city, Chinese capital of Sichuan province.
About 300 people participated in the festive opening ceremony of the film festival: officials, show-business stars and professionals of cinema from BRICS countries as well as the representatives of the local and foreign mass media.
The opening ceremony was broadcasted by CCTV channel, the main TV channel of China.
The Ukrainian singer was the only foreign performer invited to take part in the festival opening ceremony together with the Chinese performers.
She received a personal invitation from CCTV channel. She performed “Swan Lake ” composition based on Pyotr Tchaikovsky music.
